There are many different types of allergies in the world today; topping the list is food allergies. They’re not only the most common type of allergy; they can also be the most dangerous.
They can be developed during any stage of life. Finding the cause of is a long process. There are many different tests that you must go through in order to determine what food you are allergic too. Often times allergy triggers come in groups.
It can start at an early age
Many people believe you need to be exposed to something before it can be determined that you are allergic to it. This is not true. It is possible for babies to be born with them. Handling this problem can be relatively easy. When infants are born, and they are allergic to formula or milk, simply changing the formula will alleviate the problem. As children grow into eating food, your doctor will advise you to feed him or her only one food at a time for about a week. This is because if your kids have an allergy, it will be easier to determine what food is the cause.

These may range from mild to severe depending on the situation.

If you know you have a severe allergy make sure you carry epinephrine with you at all times, just in case you ingest something you’re allergic too. The symptoms appear quickly and many people have lost their lives because they were not able to get medical attention in time.
